So it’s 4/20, and I have to go to an all-day departmental meeting that is likely to be beyond hellacious. We’re all dreading it, so it occurred to me that it might be helpful to bring some “special” brownies (not that I’d have the slightest idea where to obtain the key ingredient, even on a day like today). But, since I need my job, I thought better of it, and went scouring the web in search of an alternative (i.e. legal) recipe. These Mayan Brownies kind of spoke to me, so I made a batch, and they’ve just come out of the oven. Wow. I highly (no pun intended) recommend them if you find yourself with a bad case of the munchies today. Just remember, dears - in all things (chocolate or otherwise) - moderation. ♥

So far my favorites are bands like Incubus, Coheed and Cambria, The Dead Weather, The White Stripes, and The Black Keys. Bands I've always liked include Yes, Led Zeppelin, Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Black Crowes, Pink Floyd, and Heart, to name just a few. (Yeah, I tend to like bands with colors in their names. I even like Maroon 5.)
