I love this picture, because I used to study math, and I kind of remember that there’s an equation for this spiral, and I want to say it’s something like r = theta (correct me, left-brainers). Lately it’s all I can do to balance my checkbook and figure out the tip in restaurants, but I can never forget the beauty of real hard-core math. And it’s everywhere you look. So yes, happy solstice to all - left-brain, right-brain, and everyone in between!
Summer Solstice is tomorrow! There shall be celebrations, and not much sleep. And maybe some psyllium, why not!

Trying to make up for being really late to the 21st century music party.

So far my favorites are bands like Incubus, Coheed and Cambria, The Dead Weather, The White Stripes, and The Black Keys. Bands I've always liked include Yes, Led Zeppelin, Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Black Crowes, Pink Floyd, and Heart, to name just a few. (Yeah, I tend to like bands with colors in their names. I even like Maroon 5.)
