A bedtime story for our Incuhair Group
Once upon a time, way back in the 80s, there were people like Aimee Mann from the band ‘Til Tuesday who had short hair with a long, thin, braided tail. I had one too, and it grew pretty long. It really irritated a woman I worked with. It was all she could do to keep from sneaking up behind me and snipping it off. When I finally decided it was time to lose the tail, I let her do the honors. She was thrilled. I thought she’d thrown it in the trash, but little did I know that she kept it, and had started using it to play idiot practical jokes on people in the office. She taped a piece of it to the underside of someone’s phone receiver, she sent another piece of it to someone in an interoffice envelope, she stuck some of it in her cleavage - real high class stuff. I was mortified.
The whole episode embarrasses me to this day, which is why it’s extra nice to know that the next time I cut my hair, it will be used for a much greater purpose. Wanna say the same? Join the Incuhair Movement at IncubusHQ.
