Day 23: A song that you think everybody should listen to.
Before I started blogging about music on Tumblr, I tweeted about it on Twitter. One day, a little over a year ago, I got a new follow from an up-and-coming band out of San Francisco called The Growing Room. I assume they found me by searching for tweets about bands similar to theirs. I liked them instantly, and this video of their song My Goodbye was one of the first things I posted when I started this blog. The lead singer and I have tweeted back and forth a few times since then, and I think he knows I have a little crush on him. He might as well get used to it, because when they hit it big, they’re going to have lots of fan-girling to deal with. They probably already do. ♥

So far my favorites are bands like Incubus, Coheed and Cambria, The Dead Weather, The White Stripes, and The Black Keys. Bands I've always liked include Yes, Led Zeppelin, Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Black Crowes, Pink Floyd, and Heart, to name just a few. (Yeah, I tend to like bands with colors in their names. I even like Maroon 5.)
