RSSOkay, remember the kid in Ohio who wanted to grow his hair for Locks of Love and got busted for violating his school’s dress code? You’ll be glad to know that not all school principals are such two-dimensional thinkers. Here’s a story with a happy ending. A Texas teacher just donated his hair, and his students got a lesson in charity instead of a lesson in blind adherence to antiquated rules.

So far my favorites are bands like Incubus, Coheed and Cambria, The Dead Weather, The White Stripes, and The Black Keys. Bands I've always liked include Yes, Led Zeppelin, Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Black Crowes, Pink Floyd, and Heart, to name just a few. (Yeah, I tend to like bands with colors in their names. I even like Maroon 5.)
