Last night’s post about long songs reminded me of when I was in college and did a brief stint as a DJ’s sidekick at my school’s radio station. Not much was digital in those days, so when a record ended you had to be ready to start the next one manually. This was my favorite of the long songs that came in handy when you were spinning solo and needed a few extra minutes to run to the rest room.
