Incufans, it’s getting late, and I think our #IncubusParty is finally winding down. I’ll be around until the bitter end (midnight PST, i.e. Brandon time), so if anyone wants to get in one last tweet, feel free.

I can’t believe what an awesome day this has been! Honestly, I thought people would tweet for 30 minutes or so and then go on about their business, but we kept this thing going for over 12 hours! Some folks were a little bummed that the man himself didn’t acknowledge us specifically, but I have to believe we’re included in his thank you tweet, and as I pointed out earlier, it’s his birthday - if he’d been spending a whole lot of time on Twitter today, I’d have serious concerns about him.

Big hugs to everyone who made this party such a smashing success. Special thanks to my co-hostess, @FraniMarMoon (a.k.a. franimar), and to @LovingMeDena (a.k.a. couldyoushowmedear) for keeping us engaged even during the lulls. Keep an eye out for foreverincubus / @annamolllly’s video - I know she’d been having some technical difficulties, but I think she’s still working very hard on it, and there’s nothing wrong with sending Brandon a very merry un-birthday gift. He might even be more likely to notice.

Here’s the final tally:

30 people used the hashtag and posted 168 tweets (not counting all the retweets and side conversations). Countries represented include the United States, Canada, Italy, Costa Rica, Portugal, Indonesia, Brazil, Venezuela, England, Wales, Serbia, and the Philippines. Probably more, but those are the only ones I could identify. We almost got IncubusFrance to stop by, and we even had a visitor who came all the way from Rivendell!

We must do this again some time. Let’s see - who’s next? I think that would be Ben (March 12). Is it a date?
