RSSSo last night after the Deftones concert, there were 3 guys outside the theater handing out flyers about about an up-and-coming (and pretty cute) band called Message to Venus, whose name I recognized because we follow each other on Twitter. Turns out it was actually them! I so totally could have met them if I’d been paying attention and had connected the dots. Too much Deftones on the brain, I guess.

So far my favorites are bands like Incubus, Coheed and Cambria, The Dead Weather, The White Stripes, and The Black Keys. Bands I've always liked include Yes, Led Zeppelin, Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Black Crowes, Pink Floyd, and Heart, to name just a few. (Yeah, I tend to like bands with colors in their names. I even like Maroon 5.)
