Coming to #Incufest on June 21 for Mike Einziger’s birthday? Show that you’re in by adding a pipa to your Twitter profile picture! It’s free and easy. Here’s how:
BUT WAIT - READ THIS FIRST: Please know that once the pipa is added to your profile picture, the ONLY way to remove it is to go back into your Twitter settings and re-upload your original profile picture (the one without the pipa). So make sure you have it saved somewhere before you do the following:
1.  Go to http://twibbon.com/support/incufest-june-21-20132.  Click “Add to Twitter.”3.  Authorize the app.4.  To add the pipa to your profile picture, click the “Add the Twibbon to Twitter” button. You should be able to re-size and re-position the image before adding it.
Be aware that when you click the “Add the Twibbon to Twitter” button, a tweet will be posted on your behalf (you can delete it if you want), and you will automatically start following Twibbon (you can unfollow them if you want).

INCUFEST, THE SEQUEL
Incufans, I’m coming out of Tumblr semi-retirement to remind everyone that there’s just over a week to go before the next installment in the continuing awesomeness of #Incufest. The original plan was to reconvene on Mike’s birthday, June 21st (summer solstice, by the way), but recent developments have given us even more to celebrate. The organizing committee has been tweeting away, and offers the following schedule of events:
FRIDAY, JUNE 21:Join us on Twitter beginning at 11 a.m. EDT (New York time) as we celebrate Mike Einziger’s birthday. And just to make things even more stellar, it’ll be the longest day of the year! ☀
TUESDAY, JUNE 25 through FRIDAY, JUNE 28:We come together again for a Brandon Boyd Mini-Fest, starting with the release of his new EP on the 25th, and culminating with his appearance on the Renman Live webcast on the 28th.
And remember, dears, this is only a suggestion. There’s no law that says we can’t keep tweeting all week long and then some. Where does all this happen? On Twitter, so don’t forget to include the hashtag #Incufest in all of your tweets.
More info and reminders to follow…

I’ve saved the best of the Incubus Vegas Anniversary Spam for last. Sick Sad Little World, with as much as Mike’s solo as I could get before my camera finally conked out for the night from simply too much awesomeness. It’s my last video from very possibly the last time I’ll ever be able to stand up close in the pit, since my standing days are pretty much over now. Fortunately, as endings go, it was pretty damn sweet. ♥

Mikey at The Joint, Las Vegas, May 26, 2012.

All these people known for their smokin’ hotness all on one stage, and the one person I still can’t take my eyes off of is Mike Einziger. ♥

Hey, anyone ever notice this?

Great minds think … well, like themselves, I guess. :-)

Incufest update:
Well, boys and girls, another crazy couple of days at #Incufest are just winding down, but the party’s still on, and whatever tomorrow brings, the Incufestians will be there!
Here’s a quick recap before I drop from exhaustion. First, the numbers. So far, 625 people have tweeted from 38 countries, including 34 U.S. states and the District of Columbia.
Highlights of day 2 include Steve Rennie’s mention of us in his Renman Live webcast on social media (see 5:30 and 51:00). Clearly, his generous attention has lent much credibility to our little event. And speaking of generous, Joe Lilak surprised us a little later in the day with some great giveaways from the official Incubus vault. The real zinger, though, was Steve Rennie’s hint of a REAL Incufest in South America this December. Needless to say, the entire continent went wild, with fans from each country calling dibs on the event.
The love and light continued throughout day 3. New friendships were formed, games were played, songs were sung, and a lovely time was had by all. There were even a couple of retweets from our friend Brandon Boyd.
If you haven’t joined the party yet, what are you waiting for? Are you gonna stand around til twenty elves drink tea? #Incufest, baby! See you there tomorrow. ♥

I’d pay real money to undo those top buttons.

Incubus fans…
I know a lot of you are kinda bummed today because of the sad news from the Deftones camp, so here’s something that will hopefully cheer you up. It’s almost time for #Incufest 2013, a worldwide celebration of all things Incubus, which will take place on Twitter between April 21 (i.e. 4/21, Incubus Day) and April 26 (José Pasillas’ birthday). The planning committee offers the following, not as a hard and fast schedule, but just as a suggestion of things we might focus on to make each day a little different. As with our previous parties, we expect #Incufest to take on a life of its own, and that additional themes will emerge as we go along.
Sunday, April 21 - Focus on Early Incubus (Fungus Amongus, S.C.I.E.N.C.E., When Incubus Attacks, Enjoy Incubus, etc.)
Monday, April 22 - All about Brandon Boyd, Make Yourself, and Morning View.
Tuesday, April 23 - Mike Einziger, A Crow Left of the Murder, and Light Grenades
Wednesday, April 24 - Ben Kenney, Monuments and Melodies, and If Not Now, When?
Thursday, April 25 - DJ Kilmore and all else Incubus (Look Alive, Red Rocks, HQ, Incubus covers, the band’s solo projects, Time Lapse Consortium, MYF, etc., etc.)
Friday, April 26 - All about birthday boy José Pasillas.
And of course, all throughout the festival, we want hear why you love Incubus, and invite you to share your Incubus stories, concert experiences, dream setlists, Incubus tattoos, and anything else you’d like to show and tell. And maybe if we all put our heads together we can finally solve the Pistola mystery!
We’ll probably schedule a flash tweet a day or two ahead of time to invite all the band members and let them know what we’re up to. So stay tuned to this channel for more information. In the meantime, head on over to anomalija-incubusic’s Facebook event to let us know you’re in!
