Well, after that embarrassing Rolling Stones gaffe on my blog just now, I thought I should assure everyone that I do know who John Frusciante is.
(Just kidding!!!)
i think that you didn't saw Keith Richards, but you saw Ronnie Wood :-)
OMG, you are so right, and I’m old enough to know better!
What would you do if you happened to see John Frusciante walking down the street?

Other than my heart skipping a beat, I probably wouldn’t do anything. Sadly, I’m very bad at celebrity encounters. I was once in a park in Barcelona, Spain and saw Keith Richards Ron Wood sitting at a table eating an ice cream cone. Lots of people were making a big fuss, but I hung back and took my photo from a distance, not wanting to bother him. I’d like to say that if I saw the yummy John Frusciante I’d ask him for a photo, but I know I’m too shy. Although, I did surprise myself once by asking Mike Einziger for a hug when I met him. I had to. He’s just so huggable.
there are times i fear brandon will look like iggy pop as he gets older. much like in his wikipedia profile picture. I tried to post the link but it wouldn't let. iggy pop is cool and all but he hasn't aged well.

Iggy Pop is awesome, actually. I was never that big a fan of his, but he lives here in Miami, and last year he was invited to speak at the college where I work. He gave a very candid talk about his life, and about the music business. He really won me over, and the students loved him. I think any rock star would do well to age more like Robert Plant, though, who does show his years, but is still the coolest old person I can think of (with the possible exception of Mick Jagger). Most of the others need to hang it up, but these two can still get away with it. I think that’s the secret to being old and famous, really - having the good taste to know when to bow out. I’m sure that, when the time comes (hopefully not for a long while), our dear Brandon will do the right thing. By the way, have you heard they’re making a movie about the famous New York club CBGBs, and Taylor Hawkins from the Foo Fighters is going to play Iggy Pop? How cool is that?
