What hairstyle did you rock back in the 90's?
Anonymous, are you trying to get me to post a picture of myself? Nice try, but don’t you know me by now? A picture of me during the 90s wouldn’t be all that interesting anyway. I think my hair was pretty nondescript back then (much as it is now). All I remember was that every time I went for a haircut, I told the stylist, “Just don’t make me look like a TV anchorwoman.” I did, however, have a pretty distinct style during the 80s. I blogged about it once.
30 day music challenge
Day 7: A song to drive to.
I had a tough time choosing this, because there are so many good ones (and I love to drive). I finally remembered this road-trip scene from the movie version of Hair, so I decided to go with the criminally upbeat Good Morning Starshine. Contenders include Magic Carpet Ride by Steppenwolf, Going Up the Country by Canned Heat, Truckin’ by The Grateful Dead, Ramblin’ Man by The Allman Brothers, Take it Easy by The Eagles, Ventura Highway by America, Travelin’ Band by Creedence Clearwater Revival, Interstate Love Song by Stone Temple Pilots, Heaven by Los Lonely Boys, and In a Daydream by The Freddy Jones Band.

More hair appreciation for our movement.
Flow it, show it, long as you can grow it…
…a nest for birds
there ain’t no words
for the beauty, the splendor, the wonder…
George Carlin - Hair Piece
A poetic anthem for our Incuhair movement. If you haven’t guessed by now, I’m pretty serious about this.
